How long will it be until I receive my order?

Since the yarns are custom dyed, I set the expectation of 4 weeks before I hand your order over to be shipped. I am a one-woman show and sometimes I may not have enough undyed yarn base to get the order completed sooner than that. However, many times your order will be dyed and shipped sooner and I appreciate your patience. I promise it will be worth the wait!

Does the 4 weeks include shipping time?

No, it doesn't. It is the time it will take for me to complete the order and then hand it off to the shippers.

Where do you find your colors?

The colors are all specially mixed by me from primary colors. I spent many months developing my color lines, and some with the same name on different bases that look the same have different color formulas.  The dyes for plant based yarns are also completely different than for animal fiber based yarns.

I don't know what some of your names are, what's velella?

I pick the names based on things I see in the pacific northwest. Velella is a cool little sea creature that is the most beautiful blue color. Learn more about it here.

Can I see your yarns in person?

Yes, you can find my yarns at local yarn stores and at yarn shows. I will post the upcoming shows on my website as they approach.
